PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri administered the oath of office during a swearing-in ceremony Thursday, welcoming 17 new deputies to the agency.

These deputies are assigned to the Patrol Operations Bureau, the Department of Detention and Corrections and the Judicial Operations Bureau.

The ceremony was held at the Pinellas Sheriff's Administration Building at 10750 Ulmerton Road in Largo.
