32 Busted On Drug Charges In Ridgecrest After 4-Month Operation

Narcotics detectives have charged 32 people with selling and possessing drugs following a four-month-long street-level investigation.

LARGO, FL -- In what's being described as a big win for Pinellas County in the war on drugs, narcotics detectives have charged 32 people with selling and possessing drugs following a four-month-long street-level investigation in the Ridgecrest area of unincorporated Largo.

After receiving complaints from residents about increased drug activity in the area, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office launched an undercover operation focusing on drug dealers working in the area. As a result, detectives made 17 arrests Wednesday and are rounding up another 15 people who are facing 58 criminal charges including the sale and possession of cocaine, Alprazolam, fentanyl and hydromorphone.

  • Eddie Lee Floyd, 62, charged with two counts of sale and possession of hydromorphone
  • Darryl Bell, 48, charged with three counts of sale and possession of crack cocaine
  • Eric Green, 32, charged with two counts of sale and possession of crack cocaine, MDMA and marijuana, and tampering with physical evidence
  • Naki Harris, 44, charges with two counts of sale and possession of crack cocaine
  • Leon Jackson Jr., 31, charged with two counts of sale and possession of crack cocaine
  • Johnny Henry, 63, charged with two counts of sale and possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Jonathan Pittman, 50, charged with two counts of sale and possession of crack cocaine
  • Ervin Rayner, 62, charged with two counts of sale and possession of crack cocaine
  • Donzel Redding, 28, charged with two counts of sale and possession of crack cocaine and two counts of possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a place of worship.
  • Joseph Hall, 47, charged with two counts of sale and possession of crack cocaine
  • Leroy McDuffy Jr., 61, charged with two counts of sale and possession of crack cocaine
  • Shaquille Taylor, 27, charged with two counts of sale and possession of Acetylfentanyl and cocaine
  • Patrick Helms, 42, charged with two counts of sale and possession of crack cocaine
  • Antwan Anderson, 39, charged with two counts of sale and possession of crack cocaine
  • Derik Holte, 31, charged with two counts of sale and possession of crack cocaine
  • Jerry King, 34, charged with one count of sale and possession of crack cocaine
  • Alfred Morris, 33, charged with one count of sale and possession of crack cocaine.
