Big Brothers Big Sisters Announces 2013 Board of Directors

Largo, FL, (February 19, 2013) – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Pinellas County announces their 2013 Board of Directors.  The President of the Board is Lisa Letizio, Executive VP of Human Resources for HSN.  Board Co-Vice Presidents include:  Chip Brubaker, VP, Americas Sales Readiness of CA Technologies;  David Fox, VP of Manufacturing for Cox Target Media/Valpak;  R. Matt Schaeffer, CPA and Managing Partner at Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC.  The Secretary is Kevin Mason, NFLPA Registered Player Financial Advisor at Invest Financial Corporation.  The Treasurer is Michael Attinella, Senior Vice President & Controller of HSN, Inc

It is with great pleasure that Big Brothers Big Sisters of Pinellas County announces their newest board members, George Spowart and David Phillips. George Spowart, started his career at PODS in 2007 as the company’s Marketing Director and was appointed as the Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to joining the PODS family, Spowart was working in Watertown, Mass., as a senior vice president in account management for advertising agency, Allen & Gerritsen. David Phillips is currently an associate at Mcfarlane, Ferguson & McMullen. In addition to being a Big Brothers Big Sisters Board member, Phillips is an active member of Leadership Pinellas, a member of the Clearwater Free Clinic’s Board of Directors and is involved with the Morton Plant Mease Foundation. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome George Spowart and David Phillips to our 2013 Board of Directors.
