
The Florida Botanical Gardens Foundation and Pinellas County Historical Society will participate in the 11th Annual French Market on Saturday, March 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Largo.
The event, held by Julie’s Cottage at Provence and Periwinkles at the Cottage stores, will help support the Florida Botanical Gardens and Heritage Village. The FBG Foundation will showcase a video of the gardens and offer membership opportunities. A hand-painted reusable tote bag with $50 worth of merchandise will be given to those who purchase a $30 foundation membership.
The Historical Society will have books from Heritage Village available for purchase and market visitors will have an opportunity to purchase a signed copy of the history book “Indian Rocks Beach” and meet the authors Wayne and Nancy Ayers.

“The event is a collaborative effort between the Florida Botanical Gardens, Heritage Village and the two stores, Julie’s Cottage at Provence and Periwinkles at the Cottage,” said Terry Berube, membership chair of the FGB Foundation. “The French Market is a popular local event and an exceptional setting for the Florida Botanical Gardens and Heritage Village.”

More than 30 vendors will display their goods including repurposed furniture, handmade jewelry, garden accessories, yard art and seasonal décor. The market is located on the grounds of the stores at 13128 Indian Rocks Road in the historic area of Largo. The stores are next to the site where the John T. Lowe House was originally built. The Lowe House is currently part of Heritage Village.
