Heritage Village is offering a Passport Adventures program for children, ages 4 to 11. The two-hour hands-on program is designed for summer camps, recreation, church and other groups. The sessions begin at 10 a.m., Wednesday through Friday, June 19 to 28 and July 10 to Aug. 2. The cost of participation is $2 per child. Adult supervision and pre-registration is required.
The groups will spend time in the old Florida piney woods, touring historical houses and participating in kid-friendly EnterAction Stations. Children will explore, play and learn about daily life activities, games and stores of the past. For more information on EnterAction Stations, please visit www.pinellascounty.org/Heritage/map-gator.htm.
Following the class, registrants are encouraged to bring picnic lunch and visit the gift shop. Docent teen volunteers will host the tours. For more information or to register for the program, call (727) 582-2125.
