is known
for his solo recordings, tours and as a member of the Grammy-winning
super group, Bela Fleck & The Flecktones. He
has won most every major award given to a bass guitarist. Victor
was voted Bassist of the year by Bass Player Magazine three times and
is the only person to have won the award more than once.
Stu Hamm has firmly established himself as one of the most
influential electric bassists of the past half-century. Hamm helped
to reshape the contemporary concept of the bass guitar as an
unaccompanied instrument with the utilization of polyphonic,
two-handed tapping, slapping and popping techniques, chords, and
