Author Deanna Bennett to Speak at Largo Public Library

Listen to a fascinating talk from Bennett about the discoveries she made during research for her book trilogy, Anna.

The Largo Public Library is celebrating 100 years of library service with a series of special events continuing through April 2016. This February, enjoy a talk from author, Deanna Bennett, on Wednesday, February 17th at 6:00pm.

Bennett is the author of the Anna trilogy about a 15-year-old Lithuanian girl who journeys to America with her mother in 1914. At this program, Bennett will discuss what she learned in her research about the great wave of European immigration and will address details such as ship cards, American immigration trains, why people immigrated, and more. This program is free and open to the public.
