Police Investigate Bomb Threat at Morgan Fitzgerald Middle School
Pinellas Park police are investigating a message about a bomb threat.

Pinellas Park Police are at Morgan Fitzgerald Middle School, 6410 118th Ave N in regards to a bomb threat, according to police.
Around 10:00am, a Pinellas Park Police Officer assigned to the school was advised of a message found in a bathroom that indicated a bomb was set to go off at 3:00pm today, according to police.
As a precautionary measure, law enforcement and school officials have initiated an evacuation of the school so that a thorough sweep of the facility can take place with bomb detection resources, according to police.
Students are being evacuated and moved to the football stadium at Pinellas Park High School while law enforcement resources respond and conduct the search, according to police.
No device has been located, this is a threat by message only and the evacuation is precautionary in nature, according to police.
Pinellas Park officers and detectives are investigating the source of the message and will provide an update once additional information is available, according to a news release.
