Bonner Park Reopens After Debby Damage
The city reopened Bonner Nature Park Thursday after a possible tornado moved through the area with Tropical Storm Debby on Sunday.

Parks Superintendent Greg Brown said Bonner Nature Park was the worse hit of Largo's parks. .
Bonner just reopened on Thursday, although the city still has some maintenance work to do in the park. The park's picnic shelter will need roof repairs, since some of the tin was blown off during the storm. The shelter is open and safe but may not be weatherproof, Brown said.

The city will continue to pick up trees and other remaining storm debris around its parks. Plus, the city will go out to bid to get the roof fixed, Brown said.
