Briarwood Residents say "Thanks" to Community!
Weekly update on the campaign to save Briarwood!

(1) The Briarwood residents want to thank all of the community members who have stopped by to visit and offer words of support and encouragement to their efforts to try to save their homes. If you have not yet visited the park and met the residents, they would love to meet you and show you around! Stop by if you are near the corner of Ulmerton and Seminole (watch out for the traffic --which will only get worse if plans for 260 market rate apartments, meaning at least 500 more cars, move forward. . . . .)

(3) Watch this space for info on an online petition you will be able to sign to save Briarwood. You will also be able to send a letter to the county commission from the petition page. (Will update when petition goes "live").
(4) If you want to tell the County Commission why it should vote against the land use amendment which would allow 260 market rate apartments to be built on the Briarwood site; the dates, times, and locations of the upcoming hearings are as follows:
