Motivating For Positive Change in Action

Look what Chad and Motivating For Positive Change did now!

As you drive through Pinellas County, you will notice that there are signs all over that say: "Keep Pinellas Beautiful, Adopt a road."

I live in Pinellas County, Largo actually, and I decided that this would be a great way to Motivate and create positive change. I'm not just a talker...I do as well. I stand in front of people suggesting and inspiring and motivating them to do things to help change themselves, their community, and their world all the time. Many people have asked me many times, what about you...what do you "DO"?  I always point them to my blog, that is where I showcase everything I'm doing. From ice cream socials for the kids to vollunteering at soup kitchens, from helping stranded motorists to putting up sings all over the town...I'm always out doing things to inspire and motivate peopel to change the world.

Now, I have taken another step toward helping our community...I adopted a road.

If you’re in the Pinellas County, Largo/Seminole are…the Motivating For Positive Change road goes from the Corner of Seminole Blvd/102nd ave and goes west for 1 ½ miles till you get to Walsingham Park. Now, after our second time cleaning the 1 ½ mile stretch, we have the signs up to tell everyone that we are helping out our community.

As we cleaned it, people stopped us to ask if we were the “motivating for positive change” people. When we said yes, we were given stories, and ideas of how to create positive change. They thanked us for cleaning up the road, cleaning up the neighborhood, and people honked at us with “thumbs-up” signs. A few kids even gave us pictures thanking us for helping out their community.

If you're around, and you see us out there...stop and say hi. If you see the signs...let it me a reminder that we all have the ability to change the status quo and help make this world a better place.
