New Beginnings

Have you ever eagerly shared a goal or dream with a friend?

New Beginnings

by: Linda Burhans

It was glorious to wake up this morning to the sound of birds chirping.  As I
walked my dog by the lake we were happy to meet some new baby ducks.  It gave me a feeling of new beginnings. I have been stalling on some new projects I want to start. So this morning I decided it was time to review my goals and get moving.
I encourage you to do the same. Start with just one little step.

Have you ever eagerly shared a goal or dream with a friend? Before you get out two sentences, your friend cautions you that it's not the right timing or it's
going to be too difficult.  Your friend maybe well intended, but misdirected
friends and relatives can do us the greatest harm.

Our fondest dreams may very well be our most valuable possessions. And
unfortunately we do not protect them nearly as well as we do our material
assets. Unlike material things our dreams are often stolen by the people who are closest to us.

Is there something you been putting off or something you wanted to do but just
have been waiting for the perfect time? Today is that time. Make the first step,
get started, don't wait any longer. Go beyond thinking about it and make a true
commitment.

Are today's conditions absolutely perfect? Perhaps not and they may never be.
Every day from now until the end of time there will be a completely reasonable, entirely valid excuse for not moving forward.  I suggest you ask yourself if you're ready to stop wasting your energy on excuses? Are you ready to start putting that energy to work with your actions.

I challenge you to choose to go forward today! Commit to a future with passion
and positive action.  Right now there is a step you can say.  I say go for it!
