To me it means, to make friends with people from different cultures. To connect with people who live and think differently from me and while doing so also looking for the common interests and similarities we share together. It means being kind to people I might disagree with and learning to understand from their point of view without being judgmental, while still being myself, and open and honest with those around me. By being myself I have the opportunity to share the diversity of who I am with the many people I know and care about. We diversify each other and teach each other tolerance and understanding. We are all amazing just the way we are and can make a difference in this world just by being ourselves.
