Buddy and Bonnie Rock at Taste of Pinellas

ST. PETERSBURG  Thousands were on hand at the Taste of Pinellas Saturday night to hear two blues legends: Buddy Guy and Bonnie Raitt.

Guy opened the evening, taking the outdoor stage wtih force, playing and telling short tales to an appreciative crowd in Vinoy Park. What a great show for a 74-year-old, though he never acted his age. Raitt came out with her band and picked up where Guy left off. Crooning and struming hits from her 40-year career, she also entertained with some new songs.
