Celebrate Art in Largo

Largo's HeART of Pinellas Festival begins today (Feb. 1). The series of art events runs through March 29 at the . Space is limited for most events, so sign up soon if you want to share your art.

Want to show your art skills? Enter the Celebration of Art Show. Sculpting and photography are two new categories for this year's show. The show will continue to exhibit floral arrangements and paintings. Download an application to enter the show. Entries must be received by Feb. 24.

Would you like to participate in the Clown Competition & Show? Acts can be up to six minutes. They will be judged by originality, humor, composition, performance, pacing and audience response. Apply by Feb. 18.

Have a classic car to show? Up to 75 cars will be allowed in the 4th Annual Classic Car Show. Apply by Feb. 25.

Want to show you can dance? Share your favorite moves on the dance floor. Apply by March 3.

Who will be Largo's next idol? Auditions are on Feb. 24, Mar. 2 and Mar. 9. Call Craig Dolan for more information and to sign-up at 727-518-3146.
