According to the sheriff's office, at 6:23 p.m. Sept. 1, deputies noticed a black 2019 Infiniti sedan on U.S. 19 North, just south of State Road 580, that was having difficulty keeping in the lane and was driving at a high speed.

Deputies pulled the car over and the driver, 37-year-old Samantha Krenek, identified herself as a Pinellas County Sheriff's Office employee. Deputies said Krenek had bloodshot, watery eyes and there was the odor of alcohol on her breath.
