Detectives Search for Missing Seminole Girl
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office needs your help to locate a 12-year-old girl.

Sylvia P. Ando, 12, was last seen Feb. 27 between 3 and 4 p.m. on Seminole Forest Drive East in Seminole, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
According to detectives, Ando ran away from home after an argument with her parents Monday afternoon. The parents contacted the sheriff's office at 8:24 p.m. to report her missing when she did not return home, according to a news release.
Detectives contacted all of Ando's friends and family. They searched the surrounding area with the sheriff's helicopter and K9 units, according to a news release.

Ando is home schooled and has never runaway before, according to a news release.
Ando has shoulder-length brown hair. She was last wearing a cream shirt with grey sleeves, blue jeans and white sneakers with pink trim, according to a news release.

The search for Ando continues. Authorities ask anyone with information about Ando's whereabouts to call the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office at 727-582-6200, or call Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
