Double Murder Trial Heats up as Witness Takes the Stand

Former corporate executive Patrick A. Evans, 44, is on trial for the Dec. 20, 2008 murder of his estranged wife Elizabeth K. Evans, 44, and her friend, Jerry B. Taylor, 43.

The double murder trail of Patrick A. Evans, a former corporate executive, heats up as prosecutors ask witness to identify Evans voice in a 911 call.

On Dec. 21, 2008 Evans was arrested and charged two counts of first–degree murder of his estranged wife Elizabeth K. Evans, 44, and her friend, Jerry B. Taylor, 43.

Evans, a 44-year-old former vice president of Jabil Circuit Web, and his wife were going through a divorce, reports the Tampa Bay Times.

She moved out of their shared mansion at 333 Hermosita Dr in St. Petersburg Beach, to Sun Ketch condominiums at 6080 Gulfport Blvd. S in Gulfport, where she lived with her daughter Molly Rhoades, now a 20-year old university student, reports the Tampa Bay Times.

Evans' trial began in Nov. 1, reports the Tampa Tribune
