Dr. Sophia Yin Memorial Conference - Animal Behavior Workshop
On November 1 & 2, colleagues and friends of Dr. Yin will be teaching sessions in recognition of her contributions to behavioral science.
In memory of Dr. Sophia Yin, SPCA Tampa Bay is continuing with its planned animal behavior workshop with colleagues and friends of Dr. Yin teaching sessions in recognition of her contributions to behavioral science. Guest speakers include applied behavior assessment pioneer Dr. Susan G. Friedman, certified evaluator & Four Paws training center owner Ken McCort, animal behaviorist & St. Petersburg College instructor, Ginny Price, MS, CVT, VTS, certified cat behavior consultant & Positive Cattitudes owner Jacqueline Munera. Animal care professionals can acquire up to 13 continuing education credits.
Saturday Nov. 1: Check-in 8 a.m. | Sunday Nov. 2: Check-in 8:30 a.m. | The registration fee is $195 for both full days, $125 for one day or $65 per individual session. Students and animal welfare professionals are eligible for a discounted rate of $65 for both full days, $40 for one day and $30 per individual session.
