Driver Critical Following Head-On Crash Into Tree In Largo
A driver is in critical condition after striking a tree head on early Saturday morning.
LARGO, FL — A driver is in critical condition after striking a tree head on early Saturday morning.
At 4:40 a.m., Largo police were called to the intersection of Walsingham and Indian Rocks roads where a Toyota Camry traveling west at a high speed veered right onto the curb and sidewalk, crashed through a power pole and struck a tree head on.
Police believe the driver crashed after experiencing a medical emergency.

The roadway was shut down for several hours while debris was cleared and Duke Energy replaced the power pole.
