Kayak for Beginners Taking Registrations

(Ages 18 & up welcome)

Start your kayaking adventures off right by learning essential paddling and safety skills in the classroom and on calm water. Class includes four in-class sessions and one outing on the water. This comprehensive course will cover equipment, strokes, paddling technique, capsizing, dealing with a flooded kayak, and re-entries. Come ready to get wet and have a good time on this skill and confidence building class. No experience necessary. On the water experience will be held on Saturday, November 3 from 10am-12pm. Outing held at Belleair Causeway. Please preregister for class by October 1.

$56 with Largo Resident Card/$70 with non-resident card
