Pinellas Park, FL – The Aquatics Division of the City of Pinellas Park Library and Recreation Services Department is offering an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Class at Skyview Pool (9040 54th Way N, Pinellas Park 33782). This class teaches participants patron surveillance and rescue skills through videos, group discussion and hands-on practice. Upon successful completion of the class, participants will possess a two-year certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR and AED. If you’re 15 or older and looking for a great summer job or challenging career that’s in demand, this program is for you!
Pinellas Park is offering two Lifeguarding classes: 1- March 24, 25, 31 and April 1, 2012 and 2- March 26-30, 2012. Cost for the program is $110.00 and does not include the required Lifeguarding manual. Participants must pass a swim test to be accepted into the program.
