Family History Assistance Day Helps with Family Research
Genealogy research is most successful when shared, and this event provides that opportunity.

The semi-annual Family History Assistance Day, co-sponsored by the Largo Public Library and the Pinellas Genealogy Society is coming up on April 9, 2016. This is an event that offers personal, one-on-one, family research assistance.
Bring your research notes as a starting point, and you and a volunteer researcher will ply the Internet to hunt for data to work on that brick wall, or extend your research. This is an especially helpful event if you are just getting started in researching your family. You can learn research techniques as well as find family information.
The event begins at 12:00pm in the Local History Room and the Reading Room on the second floor of the Largo Public Library, and runs until 4:00pm. Assistance will be provided on a first-come first-served basis. Volunteers will also be available in the Genealogy Center at the library to introduce you to the print collection by giving tours, and to assist in the use of that material.
