Fire Damages North Palm Drive Home
One resident was sent to the hospital and a family pet perished in the Wednesday morning blaze, fire officials said.
A blaze caused "significant damage" to a single-family home on North Palm Drive SW on June 13, Fire Division Chief David Mixson said.
The Largo Fire Department met a woman outside of the home, which was on fire with "heavy" flames. The male resident was not home at the time of the fire, Mixson said.
The unidentified female resident was transported as a "precautionary" measure to Largo Medical Center for smoke inhalation, Mixson said.
