Fire Damages Pinellas Park Pawn Shop

PINELLAS PARK- A fire early today caused extensive damage to the Value Pawn shop according to the Pinellas Park Fire Department.

The business at 6249 Park Boulevard was not open at the time of the blaze. No one was injured in the structure fire, the fire department said.

The Pinellas Park, Lealman, and Seminole Fire Departments extinguished the flames within 15 minutes. The fire did extensive damage to the front of the building and caused heat and smoke damage throughout the shop. Damage estimates were not yet available, the Pinellas Park Fire Department said.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time, the fire department said.
