Florida's Beaches, Creatures, and Cowboys

Celebrate Florida's rich film history at Largo Public Library.

As part of Largo Public Library’s Centennial Series of Events continuing through April 2016, a special art exhibit will be featured at the Library’s Gallery 120. This exhibit, entitled Beaches, Creatures, and Cowboys, depicts movie posters and lobby cards from the most famous movies filmed in Florida from the early 1920s to the present. This exhibit will be displayed from March 1st- March 31st.

In celebration of this special exhibit, the Library will offer double-features of some of these special Sunshine State films on Tuesdays, March 1st and March 8th at 1:00pm in the Jenkins Community Wing.
