Gas Leak Closes Bryan Dairy Road

A gas leak has forced Bryan Dairy Road in Largo to shut down east and west of Starkey Road. The leak is at a construction site just east of the intersection.

Deputies on the scene are rerouting traffic while crews work to repair the leak. The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is asking motorists to avoid the area if possible—use Ulmerton Road or Park Boulevard as alternate east and westbound routes.

Right now, the sheriff's office says it is not sure how long repairs will take. Stay with Largo Patch for updates.
