Grand Jury Indicts 3rd Suspect In Largo Slaying

Largo Police say the man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting last July should be considered 'armed and dangerous.'

Largo, FL — An arrest warrant has been issued for a third person in connection with the shooting death of a 21-year-old Largo man last July.

According to the Largo Police Department, officers responded to a home at 1630 Jefferson Ave. around 9:42 p.m. July 13, 2015. When they arrived, they found McKinley Torbit on the ground floor if his apartment building, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Torbit was taken to a local hospital, but died from his injuries.

During the course of the investigation, police learned Torbit had been targeted and shot during a home invasion robbery, an email from the agency said. Detective Brendan Arlington uncovered information that led to three suspects. Shaquille Felder, 22, and Frank Freeman, 23, have been charged in the case.

A Pinellas County Grand Jury indicated the third suspect in the case on Thursday, the email said. A warrant has now been issued for the arrest of Leonard Little, 25.

Little is known to have recently visited Gainesville and areas in North Carolina. His current whereabouts, however, are unknown, police say.
