It's Amore! Alfano's Restaurant Offers A Valentine's Day Classic Italian Cuisine
Alfano's offers a quaint, relaxed environment great for an Italian-themed Valentine's Day date.
When it comes to romantic dinners, there’s something about an authentic Italian restaurant that speaks to straight to the heart.
Alfanos provides the ambiance of romance. The darkened room illumined by a few dim lights and candles on the table, the shared bottles of wine and the rich authenticity of Italian cuisine all melt in perfect harmony to get the sparks a-flyin’ on date night.
From the outside, Alfano’s landscape is welcoming. A vintage 1960 Rolls Royce sits on the driveway while palm trees line the side of the illuminated entry way. Inside you'll find the restaurant's dim lighting, elegant feel and the backdrop pianist playing relaxing lounge music the perfect place to salute Valentine's Day. On a Wednesday night the restaurant's mostly older crowd that centered around the bar.

The dining room features a high-ceiling and well decorated art fills the room. The decor is fit enough to Michael Corleone’s mansion.
Within minutes of sitting down, a glass of water with ice was placed at my table. The quick, albeit stealthy, service was amusing.

Within minutes after that, a tuxedo-vested waiter came and politely asked if I’d enjoy anything else besides water. Their impeccable service continued throughout the night.
For an entrée, the chicken parmesan ($17.00 with soup or house salad) seemed like a good dish to represent what is all about. It’s a simple Italian staple and something any Italian cook worth his salt should be able to make with much competency and deliciousness.
Alfano's served this dish on a large plate with a minimalist approach. The chicken was heavenly. Lightly breaded and insanely moist, the chicken was the absolute savior of the dish. It’s rare that the flavor of the breading as well as the chicken work in balance without overpowering, but this was a good harmony.
The slice of melted provolone on top was tasty and stretched from fork to plate, which is always a good sign.
The down side to this dish were the penne noodles. They were the farthest from home-made. The dish's marinara sauce was fresh and flavorful.
In addition to their food, Alfano’s is known for their extensive wine list and desert menu which includes Italian classics like tiramisu, cannolis, and panna cotta.
s is the place for a relaxed, romantic Valentine's Day date. You’ll be treated like family in this authentic atmosphere.
