Largo Armed Sexual Battery Suspect Identified

Police are looking for help finding the man they say is responsible for an Aug. 18 attack.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of the man Largo Police detectives say is responsible for an Aug. 18 armed sexual battery, now they need some help finding him.

Timothy J. Davenport, 28, is suspected of breaking into a home in the area of 6th Street Northwest through an unlocked bathroom window and then sexually assaulting the woman inside while armed with a knife.

Officers say Davenport’s last known address was in the neighborhood, but they said in an email to media that he’s “fled” that home.

Pinellas County Jail records indicate Davenport was arrested in 2011 on a domestic battery charge.

Anyone with information about Davenport’s whereabouts is asked to call the department at 727-587-6730.
