Instead it is imbued with a beach bar ambiance, without the clichéd fake sand or Jimmy Buffet music.
Its façade is replete with soft colors and bohemian fixtures. The bar itself is situated within a box-like building and is painted in a muted yellow. This tone contrasts nicely with the green, no surprise there, O’Houston’s sign.
The inside bar connects to an outside patio that has a couple of green canopies. The patio is full of entertainment options, including a pool table and Wii gaming system, that add to the laid-back atmosphere.
The interior of the bar is covered in oak, and is relatively small, but not stuffy (especially because it is attached to an open space).
It has all of those things that characterize a modern dive—televisions, jukeboxes, dartboard— all of which allow sport fans to open its doors when a big game is on the tube.
