Largo Driver Stabbed In Neck Following Road Rage Incident

A 25-year-old man has been arrested after being accused of stabbing another man in the neck following a road rage incident.

LARGO, FL — A 25-year-old man has been arrested after being accused of stabbing another man in the neck following a road rage incident.

According to Largo police, on Tuesday two drivers were involved in a road rage incident while traveling along Roosevelt Boulevard in Largo.

One of the drivers stopped at Tropical Smoothie Cafe, 2695 Roosevelt Blvd., to purchase a smoothie. As he left the cafe with his smoothie, he was confronted by the other driver in the road rage incident, Andrew Armer, and an underage girl who was with him.

Police said the girl began screaming at the man with the smoothie and then spit on him, so he dumped his smoothie on her.

Police said Armer reacted by stabbing the victim in the neck, causing a 2-inch laceration.

The victim stumbled back into the Tropical Smoothie Cafe and collapsed at the counter.

Armer and the girl attempted to flee the area, however, two Largo police officers on Roosevelt Boulevard heard the commotion and stopped Armer's vehicle.

The stabbing victim was taken to Bayfront Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.

Armer was charged with aggravated battery and the girl was charged with simple battery.
