The month-long campaign included a cutest pet contest, coin competitions between departments and purchasing tickets to wear jeans to work.

LARGO, FL -- City of Largo employees celebrated the reason for the season by making a donation of $9,067.44 to the United Way Suncoast through a series of fundraisers.
The month-long campaign included a cutest pet contest, coin competitions between departments and purchasing tickets to wear jeans to work.
"I'm so proud of city staff, who donate so much of their own time and effort throughout the year, to also give back to the United Way during the holiday season," said Engineering Services Director Jerry Wolizinksy, who led the internal campaign.
