Largo Golf Course Tournament a Success, Continues Through October
Largo Golf Course two-tournament held on July 9, supported by local businesses, was a huge success.

It was a sold out tournament with 92 golfers at two-person team tournament held o July 9th.
The tournament started with some bumps in the format during the first 9-holes and alternate shots for the remaining 9 holes.
"We wanted to do something different and really make it fun," Jason Wilson, marketing specialist, said.

The tournament was supported by local businesses through raffle items, hole prizes and give-a-ways.
"We are very appreciative of our sponsors stepping up to the plate and helping us out," Wilson said.

Every fourth Saturday of the month through October the Largo Golf Course will have a monthly Social Golf Tournament. Each tournament will have a different format.
The next tournament is scheduled for Saturday, August 27 at 10 a.m. The cost per player is $40 and includes food, prizes and give-a-ways.
