Largo Man Accused Of Driving Over Ducklings Playing In Puddle
A Largo man is facing felony animal cruelty charges after being accused of intentionally running over a flock of ducklings.

LARGO, FL — A Largo man is facing felony animal cruelty charges after being accused of intentionally running over a flock of ducklings playing in a puddle in the road.
James Clairmont, 56, was arrested by Largo Police Sunday night after witnesses said he slowed down for a speed bump and then accelerated toward a group of ducklings in the middle of the road at a mobile home park at 7501 142nd Ave. N. in Largo.
Two of the ducklings died and a third was taken to a veterinarian with broken bones.

Clairmont denied there were ducklings in the road but police found blood and feathers on the tires of his truck.
