A Largo man has been arrested after being accused of sexual battery on a child over the age of 12.

LARGO, FL — A Largo man has been arrested after being accused of sexual battery on a child over the age of 12.

The Largo Police Department arrested 57-year-old Luis Sanchez-Nieves Saturday in the 140 block of 23rd Avenue Southwest in Largo after a family member of the victim contacted police to say Sanchez-Nieves had inappropriate sexual contact with the child.

He was charged with one count of sexual battery with familial authority on a child over 12 years old.
