Largo Man Seriously Injured in I-275, Pinellas Bayway Crash
The single-vehicle accident happened Monday afternoon.

A 41-year-old Largo man is in serious condition following a wreck on the Interstate 275 exit to the Pinellas Bayway Monday afternoon.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the wreck happened as a dry concrete hauler, driven by Robert Eugene Warren of Largo was attempting to exit the southbound travel lanes of the interstate to head west on the Pinellas Bayway around 1 p.m. The Mack truck the man was driving was going “too fast for conditions with wet roads along the exit ramp,” a highway patrol report said.
The truck struck the concrete barrier wall and overturned. It then spilled its load onto both sides of the wall, affecting traffic in both directions. The roadway was closed for three hours.
