Largo Motorcyclist Involved in Dunedin Crash Dies
Motorcyclist Brian Keith Doll, 50, who was seriously injured in a late night crash in Dunedin died Thursday of his injuries, officials said.

Brian Keith Doll, the 50-year-old motorcyclist seriously injured in a Wednesday night crash in Dunedin, died Thursday, Oct. 13.
Doll was treated at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg for life threatening injuries after his motorcycle crashed at 10:20 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to investigators, Doll, a Largo resident, lost control of his motorcycle when he sideswiped a guard rail at 557 Edgewater Dr. in Dunedin in a single vehicle crash.

He was traveling southbound on Edgewater Drive on his 2006 Suzuki 650 motorcycle when he sideswiped a guardrail, then struck a concrete gutter and began to cartwheel through trees. Doll, who was not wearing a helmet, was then ejected from his motorcycle, deputies said.
Investigators said that preliminary evidence suggests alcohol and speed may have been a factor in the crash.
