Largo Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Late Night Dunedin Crash
A Largo man sustained what authorities describe as "life threatening" injuries in a Dunedin accident this morning.

A Largo man clings to life in Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg this morning after his motorcycle crashed in Dunedin.
reports that Brian Keith Doll, 50, of the 300 block of 23rd Avenue SW in Largo sideswiped a guard rail at 557 Edgewater Dr in a single vehicle crash.
According to investigators Doll was traveling southbound on Edgewater Drive in Dunedin on his 2006 Suzuki 650 motorcycle at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies said Doll sideswiped a guardrail, then struck a concrete gutter and began to cartwheel through trees. Doll was then ejected from his motorcycle, deputies said.

Doll was not wearing a helmet.
Doll was airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center. Investigators said that preliminary evidence suggests alcohol and speed may have been a factor in the crash.

Traffic on Edgewater Drive was shut down in both directions between President and Aberdeen Streeet for several hours while deputies investigated the accident.
