Largo Police Arrest 2 In Shooting At Apartment Complex
A 28-year-old man and a 17-year-old juvenile are in custody, charged with the shooting death of Ricardo Guzman, 32.

LARGO, FL -- A 28-year-old man and a 17-year-old juvenile are in custody, charged with the shooting death of Ricardo Guzman, 32.
On Friday, April 20 at 11:45 p.m., Largo Police responded to a shooting call at the Melrose on the Bay apartments at 16321 Bolesta Road. Shortly after neighbors reported shots fired, Guzman called 911 to say he had been shot. He was found in his dark blue Toyota Tacoma in the north end of the complex near building #5103. He was transported to Largo Medical Center where he died of his wounds (see related story).
Largo Police say Daniel Curtis Battle, 28, and Malique Devon Gary, 17, met Guzman for a drug buy and then tried to rob Guzman. When he resister, they shot him four times.
