Largo Police Seek Driver Involved In Hit-And-Run Crash

The Holzbachers suffered serious injuries and both are reportedly in critical condition.

LARGO, FL -- The Largo Police Department is investigating a possible hit-and-run crash in the 7400 block of Ulmerton Road on New Year's Eve.

At 10:45 pm. Kurt and Cheri Holzbacher were eastbound on Ulmerton Road on a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle when witnesses say a truck pulled out in front of the Holzbachers from the Bay Ranch Mobile Home Park.

Witnesses believe the motorcycle struck the SUV. The SUV fled the scene eastbound on Ulmerton Road.

The hit-and-run vehicle is possibly a green or dark-colored 1999 or 2000 Ford Expedition. There is possible damage to the passenger side of the SUV.
