Largo Police Seek Man Who Robbed Dollar General With Handgun

LARGO, FL — Largo Police are attempting to identify a man who committed an armed robbery Thursday, Dec. 12, at the Dollar General, 2138 East Bay Drive.

At 8:35 p.m., a man walked into the store carrying a black semi-automatic pistol and demanded money from the store clerk. He walked out of the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and got into a dark sedan.

He is described as black, 25 to 30 years old, wearing a gray sweatshirt with two horizontal black stripes and dark blue or black shoes with a red tongue and black strip over the tongue with white lettering.

He should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who recognizes him or has information on the robbery should contact Detective Keith Wedin at 727-587-6730.
