LARGO, FL – As of Tuesday morning, Sept. 4, more than 60 tips have poured into the Largo Police Department from people who believe they have information on the kidnapping of 2-year-old Jordan Belliveau.
But, so far, said Largo Police Maj. Stephen Slaughter, they haven't gotten the major tip that will lead police to the toddler's whereabouts.
"We're still hoping for that one big break," said Slaughter. "We just haven't received that tip yet. Somebody saw something, knows something and we want them to reach out."

In the meantime, Largo Police are asking residents in the area to review any exterior surveillance video that may have captured of the kidnapper, Jordan Belliveau, his mother, Charisse Stinson, or the kidnapper's white Toyota Camry between the hours of 9:30 p.m. Sept. 1 and 1:30 a.m. Sept. 2. Police have already checked video from businesses in the area.
Law enforcement is also continuing to search the woods and garbage containers along East Bay Drive and Lake Avenue for evidence. Slaughter said Largo Police are being assisted by the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's Child Abduction Response Team. The FBI and U.S. Marshal's Office have offered their help as well.

"You're going to see boots on the ground today and you're going to see boots on the ground tomorrow," he said.
He said the public shouldn't put too much emphasis on the fact that police found some bloody items during a search of Jordan's home. The little boy had recently fallen down and cut his chin. His mother took him to the hospital where he received butterfly stitches.
"The bloody items don't necessarily tie into the investigation," he said. "I feel the mother has answered all of our questions so we can continue our investigation.
Stinson said she was carrying her son from their East Bay Drive home near Belcher Road to a friend's house at about 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1. The mother said a man they didn't know pulled over in a white Toyota Camry and offered them a ride. He said his name was Antwan. She agreed because her son was getting heavy and she still had a long walk ahead of her.
Once in the car, Stinson said the man struck her in the face and she lost consciousness.
She said she woke up at about 1:30 a.m. on Sept. 2 in a wooded area in Largo Central Park.
Slaughter said Stinson's face was bruised and police have obtained video of her walking around the park, searching for her son. Eventually, she walked to the Hampton Inn nearby and called 911.
After an extensive search of the area with K9 units, helicopters and divers who searched ponds in the area, an Amber Alert was issued.
Jordan is black, 2 feet 6 inches tall, 30 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue shirt with the number 72 on the front, blue gym shorts with a black and white stripe, black socks and black and white Nike sneakers. In addition to the cut under his chin, Jordan has a birthmark on the right side of his stomach.
Jordan may be in the company of a black man, approximately 25-26 years old, brown hair, brown eyes, wearing a white tank top and black basketball shorts with an AMD1 logo. He has dreadlocks and gold teeth. Police have released an artist’s rendering of the kidnapper who called himself Antwan as well as a photo of a car similar to the one he was driving.
Slaughter noted that both Stinson and the boy's father are cooperating with police. The father does have an alibi. The boy's parents do not live together. Stinson is 21 years old and is a struggling out-of-work single mom, according to Slaughter.
"She’s very upset as you can imagine, very distraught," said Slaughter.
"We’re keeping a positive attitude because we are going to find Jordan," he said. "That is our goal. That is what we’re here to do. But I will say that we need some help."
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Largo Police Department at (727) 587-6730.
