Largo Stores Busted For Selling Alcohol, Drugs To Underage Customers
Out of 31 businesses receiving a surprise visit from the Largo police, 17 were selling alcohol or tobacco to minors, said police.

LARGO, FL — Out of 31 businesses receiving a surprise visit from the Largo Police Department, police found 17 of them were selling alcohol or tobacco to people under the age of 21.
Using confidential informants under the age of 21, Largo police chose various convenience and smoke and vape shops around the city to see if they were complying with the law.
Largo police found that nearly 60 percent of the stores they inspected weren't in compliance.

Of the vape/smoke shops that police visited, all but one of them sold to the underage police informant and none asked for identification.
The clerks at the businesses that were not in compliance received a Notice to Appear for the sale of alcohol or tobacco to an underage person.
