Largo Triathlete Comes in Second in Heartland Race
Kristin Woodward made second place in the 40-44 age group in the Heartland Triathlon competition in Sebring.
This weekend, 41-year-old Kristin Woodward of Largo placed in Sebring's sixth annual Heartland Triathlon. Woodward placed second in her age group, 40-44, and ranked 12th overall out of 158 women. Her final time for the short course was 1:13:42. The winning time was 1:11:09 by Angie Ferguson of Fort Myers.
Woodward's times in the triathalon were:
- Swim: 8:47
- Bike: 38:33
- Run: 22:58

Wayne Hudson, age 47, placed 24th in the men's 45-49 age group. His final time was 1:26:07.
