Los Angeles' Psychobilly band, Henchmen, brought a rockabilly twist to Beer Goggles Monday night.

Los Angeles’ Psychobilly band, Henchmen, brought a rockabilly twist to Monday night.

The evening was a nice change of pace for the Beer Goggles’ punk scene as S.O.S. Records recording artitsts Henchmen brought a little something different to the table.

And the little touch of twang went over well with the audience to say the least.

Henchmen kept the furious momentum up throughout their hour-long set blasting through songs with titles like "Blown Away" and "Scream."

There were plenty of new converts to their wild Rock ‘N’ Roll sound just a few songs in. Good thing CDs were for sale at the merchandise booth for the recently acquired fans to purchase.

Special guest Dead Cat Lounge and The Limit Club got the night started for Henchmen as the seemingly never-ending stream of Pabst Blue Ribbon cans popped in the background. Bartender, Mary Kougl, made sure the thirsty patrons of Beer Goggles were taken care of all night as employee Dave Simko doubled as soundman.

The group is "drawing from a never ending list of musical influences, Henchmen have created a sound that exudes nothing but pure rock, with no rules or boundaries," according to the band website. "Isn't that the way rock n roll should be?"

The Henchmen’s tour continues to Nashville, Tenn. where they play their next gig Wednesday (Aug. 10).
