NFL Star Hosts 2nd Annual Free Football Clinic in Largo
A Largo native and current NFL player will share the importance of hard work and reaching goals with local youth.
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver and former Largo Packer, Dexter McCluster will be hosting the 2nd Annual Dexter McCluster Youth Football Clinic on Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. until 1p.m. Youth ages 8-17 will learn on-field skills and drills from McCluster along with Largo's Recreation Staff and local high school football coaches.
McCluster, a Largo High School honor roll graduate and Ole Miss Rebels' wide receiver went on to be a second round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. He attended Largo's Outreach Football Clinic as a youth and is returning to his hometown to talk to the young athletes about the importance of hard work and reaching goals.
The Dexter McCluster Youth Football Clinic will be held at the Largo Sports Complex, 1640 McMullen Rd. Free t-shirts will be given to the first 100 registered participants and a free lunch will be provided for both the participants and volunteers.
