LARGO - Largo police will not charge the driver of a vehicle who struck a pedestrian late Wednesday night attempting to cross U.S. 19.

Police say Tina Gallardo Robinson, 21, of Largo attempted to run across the busy Pinellas County artery at roughly 11 p.m. near the intersection of U.S. 19 and 150th Ave.

Robinson didn't make it as she was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by Keir Hopkins, 43, in a 2002 Cadillac. Police officials determined Hopkins was traveling an estimated 60 mph.
