Motorists who use Largo's Ridge Road to get around may want to find a new route for the next few days.Pinellas County has announced the roadway is closed to through traffic just north of Ulmerton Road from Valencia Drive to 14th Avenue Southwest. The closing was deemed necessary to enable pavement repairs prompted by underground sewer pipe work."The pipe work has left the road unsafe for heavy traffic," the county wrote in an email to media. "The road will be limited to local traffic only during this time."The closing is expected to last at least through Tuesday, July 14.
