One person is dead following a wrong-way crash in Largo Sunday.

LARGO, FL — One person is dead following a wrong-way crash in Largo Sunday.
According to Largo Police, at 2:14 a.m., officers responded to the overpass of northbound U.S. 19 and 66th Street North for a two-vehicle accident.
A vehicle was traveling south in the northbound lanes and struck another vehicle head on.

A passenger in the northbound vehicle died at the scene. The driver of the northbound vehicle and the rear passenger were transported to local hospitals with injuries that aren't life threatening.
